Kanchenjunga Trek  is one of the unspoiled trekking trails in eastern part of Nepal opened in 1988 for trekkers. Kanchenjunga 8586m is the world’s third highest mountain. This trek features  infinite variety of landscapes, cultures and panoramic views of Himalayas including the Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, & Kanchenjunga, four of the worlds five highest mountain. This trek starts from lowland (921 m)   to high glacier area (5180 m) .

Kanchenjunga Trek  begins from Suketar  and ends to the high alpine pastures and glaciers of Kanchenjunga. Along the way, you’ll pass through Hindu and Buddhist villages of  Rai, Limbu, Sherpa ethnic communities. In this trail  you will experience the real Nepal in terms of its diversity of culture, landscape and rurality.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 2 : Sightseeing around in Kathmandu Valley.

Day 3 : Fly to Suketar  and trek to  Mitlung (921 m)

Day 4 : Trek to Chiruwa (1,270m)

Day 5 :  Trek to Sekathum (1,660m)

Day 6:  Trek to Amjilossa Amjilossa (2,510m)

Day 7 : Trek to Gybala  (2,730m)

Day 8 :  Trek to Ghunsa (3,595m)

Day 9 : Acclimatization day  in Ghunsa

Day 10 : Trek to Khambachen  (4,100m)

Day 11 :  Acclimatisation day in Khambachen

Day 12 :  Trek to Lhonak  (4,785m)

Day 13 :  Trek to Pang Pema   (5,140m)

Day 14 : Rest day or visit to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp

Day 15 : Trek to Khambachen (4050 m)

Day 16 : Trek to Ghunsa (3,595m)

Day 17 : Trek to Sele La camp  (4,130m)

Day 18 : Trek to Cheram via  Sele La pass (4,720m)  (3,868m)

Day 19 : Trek to Ramche (4,610m)

Day 20 :  Day hike to Oktang (south base camp)

Day 21 : Trek to Tortung (2,980m)

Day 22 :  Trek to Yamphuding  (1,692m)

Day 23 : Trek to Mamanke (2,000m)

Day 24 :  Trek to Kande Bhyanjyang (2120m)

Day 25 : Trek to Lalikharka Lalikharka 2,220m)

Day 26 : Trek to Suketar.

Day 27 :  Drive to Bhadrapur and fly to Kathmandu.

Day 28 : Rest day in Kathmandu.

Day 30 : Fly back to your country.

  1. What if I have never been trekking before?

Prior to your Trek or Expedition, it is necessary to be in good physical shape. So in order to maintain your body in a good condition for the trek a regular exercise is needed so walk 2 to 3 hours daily. This much effort from your side is enough, rest we do from our side to make our trip more successful.

While booking your holiday you inform us about your health condition, then we customize walking hour in the trek according to your wish.


  1. How about Mountain Sickness during the trek?

We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks. Our guides are experienced, trained and familiar with Altitude Sickness. Throughout the trek our guide will closely monitor the clients individually and as soon as the effects of altitude sickness is seen on you our guide will help you quickly to get down to lower altitude.



  1. What if I need medical assistance at some point during the trip?

In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen. In case of emergency, our staffs are well trained, experienced and know how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.


  1. If I cancel my trip can I get a refund?

No refund will be there after you participate in the trek but while cancellation 2 week priors to depart for the trek 25% will be charged and rest will be refunded.
