Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi  Himal is the name of the long rising ridge and its summit that forms that southwestern lower slope of Fishtail Mountain.  This Trek is an alternative  trek for Annapurna and Machhapuchre Base Camp Trek. This trek offers you to discover wonderful villages, endless miscellany of culture, fabulous sights of white-snow-capped-mountains. Considering the facts, This treks overtakes through intense forests, furious ever-flowing rivers and camp at 4,100m. This trek offers the view of the most amazing close quarter views of 5 of the 14 highest mountains in the world.

Mardi Himal Trek  is moderate type of trekking. No prior experience needed for this trek. After reaching the Pothana, the real trekking starts  and passing through rhododendron and pine forest, bamboo bushes makes our trip more memorable. And the traditional villages of ethnic communities of the Gurung and Magar  fascinates us in this Trek. The best time to go for the this Trek is spring.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation of trek

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Pothana

Day 5: Trek from Pothana to Forest Camp

Day 6: Trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp

Day 7: Trek from Low Camp to High Camp

Day 8: Explore High Camp

Day 9: Trek from High Camp to Siding Village

Day 10: Trek from Siding Village to Pokhara

Day 11: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Day 12: Final Departure from Kathmandu

  1. What if I have never been trekking before?

Prior to your Trek or Expedition, it is necessary to be in good physical shape. So in order to maintain your body in a good condition for the trek a regular exercise is needed so walk 2 to 3 hours daily. This much effort from your side is enough, rest we do from our side to make our trip more successful.

While booking your holiday you inform us about your health condition, then we customize walking hour in the trek according to your wish.

 

  1. How about Mountain Sickness during the trek?

We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks. Our guides are experienced, trained and familiar with Altitude Sickness. Throughout the trek our guide will closely monitor the clients individually and as soon as the effects of altitude sickness is seen on you our guide will help you quickly to get down to lower altitude.

 

  1. What if I need medical assistance at some point during the trip?

In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen. In case of emergency, our staffs are well trained, experienced and know how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.

 

  1. If I cancel my trip can I get a refund?

No refund will be there after you participate in the trek but while cancellation 2 week priors to depart for the trek 25% will be charged and rest will be refunded.
