The newly opened Langtang Tamang Heritage trek is wonderful trekking in the Langtang region towards north of the Kathmandu valley. This trek gives the opportunity to get insight into the lifestyle, culture and religion of the ethnic Tamang people. As it is believed that they migrated in Nepal from Tibet many years ago. As this ethinic group is famous for their hospitality and their friendly behavior. This trekking region is the off the beaten trekking region where you find less tourists. This trekking region offers the combination of the Tamang culture and picturesque scenery and healing baths in natural hot springs. During the Langtang Tamang Heritage trek you also get opportunity to enjoy the magnificent views of the snow clad mountains like Langtang range, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal etc.
Tamang Heritage Trek begins from Syabrubesi after 7/ 8 Hours drive from the Kathmandu valley. In this trek you cross the various Tamang settlements like Goljung, Gatlang, Thuman, Timure and Briddim. There are many beautiful Buddhist monasteries on the way. Therefore it is a great chance to know the lifestyle of the Buddhist monks in the monasteries. En route you also enjoy the spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Langtang Kerung, Ganesh Himal and more Langtang Himalayan ranges. In addition the Lush alpine meadows, forested valleys and high mountain ridges, blooming rhododendron forest, walking in the Langtang national park where you can encounter rare wild animals and birds attracts every trekker who visits this region. Day 8: Briddim to Lama Hotel
Day 9: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m.)
Day 10: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m.)
Day 11: exploration of the Kyanjin Gompa
Day 12: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2470m.)
Day 13: Lama Hotel to Dhunche.
Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu.

We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks. Our guides are experienced, trained and familiar with Altitude Sickness. Throughout the trek our guide will closely monitor the clients individually and as soon as the effects of altitude sickness is seen on you our guide will help you quickly to get down to lower altitude.
In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen. In case of emergency, our staffs are well trained, experienced and know how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.
No refund will be there after you participate in the trek but while cancellation 2 week priors to depart for the trek 25% will be charged and rest will be refunded.
