Mt Kailash (6,714 m) is the holiest mountain located in the far western corner of the Tibetan plateau. This legendary snow-capped jewel is revered by four different religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Bonpo) as one of the most sacred and challenging pilgrimages in the world. Four of the Orient’s greatest rivers; the Brahmaputra, the Sutlej, the Indus & the Karnali originate from and around the Mt Kailash. At the base of the mountain, are two vast lakes, Mansarovar &  Rakastal.

Mt Kailash spiritual centre of the universe for Hindu. Accoroding to Hindu mythology, Mt Kailash is fantastic pillar of 84,000 miles around which everything revolves with its root to the lowest hell and summit touching the heaven. Mt Kailash is itself an abode of Lord Shiva. Shiva, lord of the universe who shares this magnificent mountain with his consort Parvati. A single bath  in sacred Lake Mansarovar offers a pilgrim an easy access to Brahma’s (Hindu god for creation) paradise in Hinduism. And a single drink of its holy water wipes out the sins of hundred lifetimes. While in  Buddhism, Mt Kailash is the holy pilgrimage where their first prophet achieved enlightenment. Therefore, thousand of  Hindu and Buddhist pilgrim visit  Tibet every year for Mt Kailash.

Tibet Lhasa Trek begins with the scenic flight  from Kathmandu to Lhasa. First three days of the tour, we do sightseeing around Lhasa area  and after that we head towards to Mt Kailash. As this trek offers a scenic beauty of Tibet and Lhasa , Lake Mansarovar and holy Mt. Kailash. As well as this  trek gives you chance to explore the culture and lifestyle of Tibetan People who are basically nomadic. As per the request of our clients, we also customize the itinerary of the trek.

Day 1: Flight to Lhasa.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Lhasa Area.

Day 3: Sightseeing around Lhasa Area.

Day 4: Drive to  Gyantse.

Day 5: Scenic drive to Xigatse.

Day 6: Continue scenic drive to Saga.

Day 7: Continue scenic drive to  Paryang.

Day 8: Continue your drive to Lake Mansarovar.

Day 9: After exploring Lake Mansarovar and acclimatization

Day 10: Trek  to Dhirpuk.

Day 11: Trek to Zutul Puk  crossing Dolma la Pass.

Day 12: Trek to Tithapuri.

Day 13: Drive to Toling & Tsaprang.

Day 14: Explore Toling & Tsaprang and  Guge Kingdom.

Day 15: Scenic drive back from Toling & Tsaprang to  Hor Chu.

Day 16: Drive to Saga.

Day 17: Drive to  Nylam.

Day 18: Drive back to Ktm.

  1. What if I have never been trekking before?

Prior to your Trek or Expedition, it is necessary to be in good physical shape. So in order to maintain your body in a good condition for the trek a regular exercise is needed so walk 2 to 3 hours daily. This much effort from your side is enough, rest we do from our side to make our trip more successful.

While booking your holiday you inform us about your health condition, then we customize walking hour in the trek according to your wish.


  1. How about Mountain Sickness during the trek?

We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks. Our guides are experienced, trained and familiar with Altitude Sickness. Throughout the trek our guide will closely monitor the clients individually and as soon as the effects of altitude sickness is seen on you our guide will help you quickly to get down to lower altitude.


  1. What if I need medical assistance at some point during the trip?

In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen. In case of emergency, our staffs are well trained, experienced and know how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.


  1. If I cancel my trip can I get a refund?

No refund will be there after you participate in the trek but while cancellation 2 week priors to depart for the trek 25% will be charged and rest will be refunded.
